ADM Studio has been appointed to design a rear and side single-storey extension, along with a loft conversion, for a three-storey detached residential home.
This existing dwelling features a brickwork façade with stone detailing at the front, and a rendered finish with stone pebbles at the rear.
The new design aims to seamlessly blend the character of the original structure with modern elements, retaining the brickwork to ensure continuity.
The extension will wrap around the right side at ground level, featuring a four-pane bi-fold door that opens into a spacious, open-plan kitchen and living area. Additionally, the extension will house an indoor garage, storage, and utility area.
The loft conversion will introduce new roof lights, including four on the extension, to enhance natural light and ventilation throughout the home. The result is a harmonious blend of tradition and modernity, creating an inviting, light-filled space for the client.
